Ricochet

My current directing project titled 'Ricochet' received the 2024 Artist Citizen Award from the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival for its performance in Albany, GA for Region IV. It is a contemporary circus project based on gun violence in America with the Charlotte based company Nouveau Sud. Through acrobatics, aerial, dance, spoken word, poetry, live music and song, this piece aims to examine how we as the global majority are affected by gun violence. In 2025, Nouveau Sud is scheduled to perform 'Ricochet' at Hillsborough Community College, Coker University and Central Piedmont Community College.
